Okay please do not use a chemical straightener by yourself first of all. Second It doesn't really matter with the shampoo so much as it does with a straightening product so I would get a creme to put in after your shower and as for having no straightener, it's not going to go very straight without on depending on the texture of your hair. The best results you can get would be shower/creme/blow-dry while brushing. good luck, and maybe try to save for a straightener in the future?

there's this hair straightening serum from Paul Mitchell and this product called straight from bumble and bumble you put before blow drying your hair, they say if you use milk as a final rinse and let your hair air dry it will make your hair straight without making it stink.
Pantene ProV has a special straightening shampoo and conditioners i used to use. I'm not sure how straight it will make your hair, but it does help and definitely makes it smoother.

Okay please do not use a chemical straightener by yourself first of all. Second It doesn't really matter with the shampoo so much as it does with a straightening product so I would get a creme to put in after your shower and as for having no straightener, it's not going to go very straight without on depending on the texture of your hair. The best results you can get would be shower/creme/blow-dry while brushing. good luck, and maybe try to save for a straightener in the future?

Pantene ProV has a special straightening shampoo and conditioners i used to use. I'm not sure how straight it will make your hair, but it does help and definitely makes it smoother.

clarifying shampoo. it will cut through the oils. i am a stylist and i buy good old suave to cut all the product and oils out when my hair just feels out right dirty, then i will take my really good salon shampoo and conditioner over it. however i do not clarify every single time i wash my hair, your hair needs some natural oils. give it a try. also when you condition keep your conditioner at the ends of your hair only, you do not need to put it on your scalp if it is as oily as you say.
My one son has extremely greasy hair and he's tried everything. His favorite is Head and Shoulder Citrus Breeze. He also says that using hot water to shampoo helps clear up the oil. He does a final rinse with cool water. He says lemon juice is good for shine instead of heavy conditioners. According to him, this gives him soft shiny hair that stays grease free for a few days. I would add: stay away from leave-in hair creams, waxes, mousses and other styling products. They can make even dry hair feel heavy and oily.

I use it and I really like it a lot. It brings out the highlights in your hair and lightens it. It also makes it really shiny and glossy and smooth.
John Freida ';brunette'; line also has a line for red hair and blondes. The brunette line of products has shampoos, conditioners and other hair products that can alter slightly the colour of your hair. It comes in i believe 2(??) diferent brunette colours for the the lines.
i would go to aveda and get one of the 'personal blends'(every time you wash your hair or condition, whatever you choose, it will deposit the color into your hair. the conditioner with deposit more and you can leave in on for a few mins).. the brown one and use that, i wouldnt use anything from an drugstores. if you are lighter and slowly trying to go darker thats your best bet..

There is a product for horses called Sho-Sheen, that you will find at any livestock supply, and at some Walmarts..If you spray this on your Sheltie's feet, it will keep them from holding dirt and grass staining..
I use Tramp shower gel from Lush on my Labradors, their coats are really soft and glossy and they smell nice too, even after rolling around the garden.

So it sounds like what you're talking about was called Jergen's Body Shampoo starter kit.
It came out in 1994, but I don't think they make it anymore, because when I looked on the Jergens website, the only items they had listed under 'clense,' where you'd think body shampoo would be, was this:

It came out in 1994, but I don't think they make it anymore, because when I looked on the Jergens website, the only items they had listed under 'clense,' where you'd think body shampoo would be, was this:

I higly reccomend head and shoulder silky smooth shampoo and conditioner. It has done so much for my my hair and my clients. I also use garnier fuitus on my clients hair, only if it's super dry and frizzy.
If you can't buy these products because your on a budget or something then use vinegar. Don't mind the smeel, it will disappear as your hair dries. Vinegar will remove any product build-up that causes oiliness.

I can't believe that I'm answering a shampoo question. Buy the generic brands of your favorite salon shampoo. My wife was a chemist for a manufacture here in S.Ca and its all the same. They would fill an order for the salon product then fill an order for the generic with the same shampoo. The same goes for body washes.

Years ago it was in a gold bottle. I don't know if the bottles changed or not, but it makes your hair so silky, soft, bouncy and shiny. They use it for all hair types and if you're a student they dilute the conditioner with water and use it as a leave in conditioner and wrapping spray.
